The Name of Rio Grande Forge
Many people wonder about the name. It was chosen when I started shoeing in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. I graduated from high school in McAllen and this area has always had a place in my heart. After moving to Arkansas, I decided to keep the name to remind me of fond memories and the start of my shoeing career.
